Antepost betting accumulator
For the bettors, who prefer betting on ante-post options, here are the analysis of the best leagues in Europe. In my opinion, it is way much smarter to bet on the league winners, rather than on a single match, because you can afford your team lose several times and you can still win in the end! So, here is what has happened in the different leagues so far.
The English Premiership
The Premier League is the division with the widest range of betting markets. It is still very difficult to be said who is going to win the league, because Chelsea, Liverpool, Manchester City and Arsenal are very close in the standings. However, the most reasonable bet is Arsenal to finish in the Top 4 (1.36). The Gunners have collected 28 points after 13 rounds and are 3 behind the leaders Chelsea. Moreover, Arsene Wenger’s players have qualified for the Champions League on 20 consecutive occasions! I think that’s enough for you to put your money on Arsenal in The Top 4!
To continue with, Sunderland are “the kings” of the great escapes from the relegation zone in the very last rounds of the season. The Black Cats are considered as the favourites for relegation in the end of the campaign. However, I think they can do it one more time and avoid relegation (2.75). Now we can think of who is going to relegate. In my opinion, it’s high time Swansea appear in The Championship. Even though The Swans have Sigurdsson and Llorente in their squad, they have only won 2 of 13 matches this season (Swansea to relegate 2.37).
The Championship
The second tier of the English football has become even more competitive! The best opportunity for the punters here, is predicting who will be in The Top 6 in the end of the campaign. If I were you, I would have bet on Reading finish in the Top 6 (2.00). The Royals are lying in the 3rd position, having collected 34 points. Furthermore, they are the team in the best form in The Championship (6 victories in their last 6 league matches)!
The lower divisions
Scunthorpe United seems to be the strongest team in The League 1 this season. With 13 victories, 5 draws and only 2 defeats in 20 matches, The Iron is the team with the best attack in the league (41 goals – about 2 per game on average). It is an obvious, Scunthorpe United will fight for promotion (1.57).
Plymouth is also a good option for the long-term betting accumulator. The Pilgrims have recently been in a bad form, losing 3 consecutive matches, but Argyle are still on the second place in the table – 7 points in front of the 4th-placed Portsmouth. There are 3 places in The League 2, which secure a promotion to the League 1, so Plymouth still have serious chances for the higher tier. Moreover, The Green Army finished in The Top 7 twice in a row, so they can finally make it to The League 1 (1.50).
The Scottish Premiership
It is obvious that Celtic are going to win the league… And you are going to ask me “what are we doing here?”. There is the option “winner without Celtic and Rangers”, which means no matter your team finishes behind Celtic, or behind both Scottish giants – you are going to win. And ask yourself who is the third best team in Scotland – Aberdeen. The odd is pretty enough for our accumulator – 1.40.
The other leagues
Another gift you can take advantage of is the option to bet on Monaco in the Top 3! 1.20 is not a big odd, but multiplied by the other odds, it can become profitable! I think, it’s not necessary to explain why you should choose exactly Monaco.
Here are the other betting advices: Benfica to win the Portuguese Primeira Liga (1.36), Ajax to win the Eredivisie (2.20), Sevilla to finish in The Top 4 (1.90), Crusaders to win The Northern Ireland Premiership (1.33). At both ends, here is how our ante-post accumulator looks like:
- Arsenal (Top 4) – 1.36
- Reading (Top 6) – 2.00
- Scunthorpe United (Promotion) – 1.57
- Plymouth Argyle (Promotion) – 1.50
- Aberdeen (without Celtic and Rangers) – 1.40
- Monaco (Top 3) – 1.20
- Benfica (Primeira Liga winners) – 1.36
- Ajax (Eredivisie winners) – 2.20
- Sevilla (Top 4) – 1.90
- Crusaders (Northern Ireland Premiership winners) – 1.33
The accumulator’s total odd: 81.36.
