Kylian Mbappe | The Next Henry

The brightest young talent of the French football – Kylian Mbappe made an extraordinary season for his team Monaco. That was his second campaign at the club, but he put on display some outstanding performances. The forward is only 18 years old, but his price has dramatically raised during the season.

To continue with, Kylian Mbappe scored his first senior goal on 20th February 2016 in the match against Troyes in the French Ligue 1. However, then, he wasn’t a first-choice player, as he was only 17 years old. He even started this season at Monaco’s second team, recording 2 matches in the French 4th division. His talent was so obvious, that he immediately became an integral part of Monaco’s first team. The forward managed to score 15 league goals in 29 matches, helping his team win the title in France! In addition, Kylian Mbappe scored 6 goals in The Champions League, as his team reached the semi-finals of the competition. He even scored a goal in Buffon’s net in the match against Juventus.

In March 2017, Mbappe won his first appearance for the French national team in the 3-1 victory against Luxembourg. Then, he also played in the 2-0 defeat to Spain. Mbappe scored 7 goals in 8 matches for the French U19 team, winning the UEFA U19 Championship in 2016.

Mbappe’s playing style remains a lot to Thierry Henry! The legend of Arsenal also started his career in Monaco, but we must admit that Kylian Mbappe was even more impressive than the young Henry! Thierry managed only to score 6 goals in his first 2 senior seasons.

No wonders, why each of the major European clubs wants to sign the talented forward. Mbappe was linked with a lot of clubs, but what will he decide. For sure, it will be very difficult for Monaco to make him stay. Now, Arsene Wenger is the next one to try to sign the forward. The French manager has arrived to Monaco, alongside with the CEO Ivan Gazidis. There are rumours that The Gunners have already offered a bid of €100 m., which has been rejected by The Monegasques. So, Wenger has decided to meet them in personal and review his offer.
