The Premier League | 27th Round Preview

Manchester United vs. AFC Bournemouth

The Red Devils must be inspired from the trophy they won last Sunday. This will boost the confidence of the Jose Mourinho’s players and I expect they will have no difficulties against Bournemouth at all. Moreover, The Cherries have recently been in a bad shape. They have lost 4 consecutive games. Bournemouth have also won only once in their last 11 matches!

In addition, Manchester United are on a run of 6 consecutive victories in all competitions. The last time they lost a match at Old Trafford was in September! Furthermore, The Red Devils won the last two matches between these two teams. Don’t hesitate and pick United to win the match!

Leicester City vs. Hull City

The Tigers are the second worst visitors in The Premier League. They have only achieved 1 victory away from KCOM Stadium. However, Hull City are quite successful when visiting Leicester City – 2 wins and 2 draws out of 7 matches.

Even though Leicester City look very unpersuasive this campaign, The Foxes have been good enough at home. They have only lost 4 of their last 14 games at The King Power Stadium. They looked very strong against Liverpool on Monday, winning the match 3-1. Maybe the dismissal of Claudio Ranieri have affected the players positively and I think it’s time for another Leicester City’s victory! You can give it a try on 1.83!

Stoke City vs. Middlesbrough

The Boro are the team with the weakest attack in the league, having only scored 19 goals in 26 matches. The Middlesbrough’s performance away from home seem even more awful with only 1 victory of 13 matches and only 8 scored goals. On the other hand, the Aitor Karanka’s players are strong in defence and have conceded 28 goals.

To continue with, Middlesbrough struggle a lot when visiting Stoke City. The Potters have won 17 of 29 games against The Boro at home, having only lost on 5 occasions. Moreover, Stoke City have won 20 of their 32 points this season exactly at The Bet365 Stadium. The last time The Potters lost at home in The Premier League was 3 months ago (0-1 to Bournemouth)! So, I will again pick 1 as an outcome.

Swansea City vs. Burnley

The Swans won 3 of their last 5 Premier League games. Moreover, they have already played the most difficult games for them in the second half of the campaign (against Arsenal, Liverpool, Southampton, Manchester City and Chelsea). That’s why I think the Paul Clement’s players are the favourites for avoiding relegation. The improvement in Swansea City’s performance is obvious!

Moreover, Burnley have lost 10 of 12 visits in The Premier League, having only recorded 2 draws! The Clarets have only scored 6 and have conceded 25 goals away from Turf Moor. Furthermore, The Clarets are not so successful when playing against The Swans – 3 wins, 2 draws and 6 defeats! Swansea City have won 5 of the last 6 matches between these two teams.

Watford vs. Southampton X

West Bromwich Albion vs. Crystal Palace 2

Liverpool vs. Arsenal

The Reds have an advantage in the whole rivalry between these two teams. They have recorded 84 victories, while there have been 59 draws and 78 wins for The Gunners. However, Liverpool have been awful in 2017 so far. The Jurgen Klopp’s players have only won twice for the past two months!

Moreover, The Gunners have won 4 of their last 6 visits in all competitions. In addition, the Arsene Wenger’s players have only lost 3 of their 12 visits in The Premiership. The tip for this match is “over 2,5 goals and both to score”. 6 of the last 7 matches between these two teams have finished that way!

Tottenham Hotspur vs. Everton X

Sunderland vs. Manchester City 2

West Ham United vs. Chelsea

Chelsea will hardly miss the chance to win the title this season, but The Blues might not win the game against The Hammers. The Slaven Bilic’s players have only lost once in their last 6 competitive matches. In addition, they have an advantage in the Head to Head battle against Chelsea when they play at home (24 – 8 – 14). The Hammers also won the last 2 home games against The Blues. Antonio Conte has no problems with injuries.
