The Premier League | 15th round preview
Watford and Everton are opening the 15th round of The Premier League. The Toffees have been extremely successful against The Hornets! Everton have won 13 of 18 matches between these two teams. Moreover, Watford conceded 11 goals in their last 4 Premier League matches. So, I think Everton have a good chance of winning the game.
The Gunners are to host Stoke City on Saturday. Arsene Wenger’s players have gained extra confidence after finishing on top of their group in The Champions League. They have only lost once this campaign and, obviously, Stoke City will struggle a lot at The Emirates Stadium. In addition, Arsenal have won 12 consecutive home games against The Potters. Stoke City have lost on 36 occasions when visiting Arsenal (in 46 matches).
Hull City are desperate for points! The Tigers will meet Crystal Palace in an attempt for first 3 points since 6th November (when they beat 2-1 Southampton). On the other hand, The Eagles finally managed to record a victory in the previous round (3-0 against Southampton). Hull City are the team with the worst defence in the league (alongside with West Ham United), having conceded 29 goals in 14 matches. The Tigers have also the worst attack, having only scored 11 goals.
The relegation battle continues with the match between Swansea City and Sunderland. The Black Cats have recently been in a good shape, winning 3 of their last 5 league matches. Just on the opposite, The Swans have lost their last game to Tottneham Hotspur 0-5. Moreover, Swansea couldn’t hit the target in that game! If The Swans lose the match, their situation will become much more complicated.
The most interesting game of the weekend will be between the teams of Leicester City and Manchester City. The Citizens lost to Chelsea 1-3 last Saturday and will be without their best forward Sergio Aguero, who was sent off. Fernandinho is also ruled out off the squad, because he also received a red card. However, The Foxes are horrible in The Premier League this campaign, having lost the half of their games! In addition, Claudio Ranieri’s players were smashed in the last round of the Champions League 0-5 to Porto!
Manchester United are to host Tottenham Hotspur on Sunday. The Red Devils will have a visit to Ukraine tonight, which will be incredibly difficult, because the weather in the former Soviet republic will be harsh and the pitch will surely be frozen. The Spurs will have one day more to rest after the victory against CSKA Moscow on Wednesday. However, The Red Devils have won 56 of 79 matches against Tottenham at Old Trafford! I expect United to win the match!
To conclude with, The Merseysiders will play against The Hammers in the last match of the round. West Ham United have lost 8 matches this season! They have only won once when playing away from home. Jurgen Klopp’s players will surely smash The Hammers, after the surprising defeat to Bournemouth last weekend.
The Predictions:
- Watford vs. Everton X2 (double chance)
- Arsenal vs. Stoke City 1 (banker)
- Burnley vs. Bournemouth 1X (double chance)

- Leicester City vs. Manchester City 2
- Chelsea vs. West Bromwich Albion 1
- Manchester United vs. Tottenham Hotspur 1
- Southampton vs. Middlesbrough X
- Liverpool vs. West Ham United 1 (banker)
