The Premier League | 29th Round Preview
West Bromwich Albion vs. Arsenal
It looks like the end of an era for Arsenal. After 21 years in charge of The Gunners, Arsene Wenger may feel that his time in London has come to an end. Even though, Arsenal won against Lincoln City 5-0, reaching the semi-finals of The FA Cup, the fans won’t forget about the humiliating 2-10 defeat on aggregate to Bayern Munich in The Champions League.
However, The Gunners will try to finish in The Top 4 – something that they usually do. This time it will be even more difficult, because the rivals seems to be better. That’s why a victory against West Bromwich is a necessity! Give it a try at 1.70!
Prediction: 2 (1.70)
Crystal Palace vs. Watford 1
Everton vs. Hull City
The Toffees are in a great form. They have been amazing when playing at Goodison Park this season, having only lost once in 14 league games. In addition, Everton have won 3 of the 4 Premier League matches against Hull City at home. The last one finished with a 1-1 draw in 2014. Honestly, I don’t think The Tigers are capable of winning anything from the game. Put your money on a Toffees’ victory.
Prediction: 1 (1.53)
Stoke City vs. Chelsea
If Chelsea records another three points from the visit to The Potters, that will be the crucial moment for winning the title. So, I think Antonio Conte will motivate his players to give their best against the strong team of Stoke City.
On the other hand, The Potters have always been a tough opponent for The Blues. Stoke City have won 3 of the last 4 matches at The Britannia Stadium against Chelsea in all competitions. However, The Blues will be more motivated to take the three points.
Prediction: 2 (1.57)
Sunderland vs. Burnley
The Black Cats desperately need fresh points. The game against Burnley is an ideal moment for them to add 3 points into their record. Otherwise, the David Moyes players will hardly avoid relegation this season. In my opinion, there is only one option you can pick for this game – a Sunderland’s victory!
Prediction: 1 (2.62)
West Ham United vs. Leicester City 1
AFC Bournemouth vs. Swansea City X2
Middlesbrough vs. Manchester United
The Red Devils have two options to qualify for The Champions League next season. I am not sure which one is the easiest, but a visit to Middlesbrough is always a tough task. Especially, when The Boro are endangered of relegation. Moreover, the Jose Mourinho’s players will be tired after the game against Rostov on Thursday. I think that United won’t take the three points.
Prediction: 1X (double chance – 2.40)
Tottenham Hotspur vs. Southampton 1
Manchester City vs. Liverpool
The Merseysiders have still not lost match against a team from the Top 6 in The Premier League. They won twice in a row (against Arsenal 3-1 and vs. Burnley 2-1). In addition, The Reds will have more resting time, because The Citizens will play against Monaco in The Champions League. Furthermore, Liverpool have won 4 of the last 5 matches between these two teams.
On the other hand, the last time Manchester City lost at home was 3 months ago (1-3 to Chelsea)! Since then, The Citizens have recorded 6 victories and 3 draws at The Etihad Stadium. I think that a draw would be a fair result.
Prediction: X (3.60)
